UA Sports Pittsburgh is a Program Dedicated to Youth!
Ultimate flag football is a competitive sport designed to educate our children on the importance of following rules; the TEAM mentality; and of course having fun!!! We are a competitive league which means not all teams have a winning season, not all kids are MVPs. We teach real life TEAM sports. All kids will receive a trophy for participating. Some kids with the best stats will receive special trophies. The top teams will also receive special awards. We teach our kids how to win and lose with dignity, we help them through losing and teach them how to be humble when they win. We believe in life lessons and holding our heads high no matter what. Being competitive does not mean that your inexperienced 6 year old that has a 5 min. attention span can't play. We will take the time to involve, educate, and excite your kid. We are all about fun..we just wanna be real. We are born with a competitive spirit and we all want to win so come on out and win with the best UA SPORTS.

| SPRING 08' SUPER BOWL CHAMPS!!! |
The spring 2008 season ends with amazing play!!! Rams 2 Panthers 0 The Rams and Panthers battle hard again and the game comes down to an overtime win by the Rams. Justin Rossmiller of the Panthers remains an icon player at FFK, with moves that have moves. The whole Panther Team came to do battle and the Defense was spectacular, holding the Rams to 0 is a tough gig. The Rams came out looking great on D, but the offense had trouble moving the ball early. Dawson Goltz had fire in his eyes and had what proved to be a game saving “tackle”. The Rams all played very well with Elijah Blackburn who was all over Justin, Reed Eastburn had the best scoring opportunity of the game, and many touchdown saving flag pulls on Justin’s favorite corner. The coaches did a phenomenal job with all of these kids and my hats off to everyone.
Steelers 18 Rams 0 The Steelers and Rams threw down and it all came down to defense and attitude. The Steelers struck early and gained momentum, which led to the downfall of the Rams. The positive attitude and team spirit of the Steelers was inspirational. This team defeated all the odds and put up the most important “W” of the year. The Rams did a fantastic job of playing ball, they just seemed sluggish. The emotions ran high which led to what we call “quick sand”. When one thing goes wrong and your mentality goes with it you start to sink into the abyss. From a missed defensive assignment to a turn over to a missed flag to a head hung low to a dropped pass to a penalty, ETC!!!! I spoke to one of the players during a time out and he rallied himself back, and BANG he snagged an Interception and sparked his team, but there was only about a minute left in the game. Hopefully we all can remember that life is all about attitude. With the right mentality we can achieve anything!!!
